Thirty Thirty Media, founded in 2014, focuses on Arts, Entertainment, Digital Media & Technology. We believe that the combination of our expertise in business marketing can ensure that we can meet a client’s needs.

Meet Our Founder

Marcus Gilmore is a native of Duncanville, Texas, and a graduate of the University of North Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Radio, TV, and Film and minored in Business Marketing. 

The media industry was introduced to Marcus at 10 years old at his church. His mentor Ed Brown, brought him to join the media ministry at his church. His first responsibility was to move wires for the cameras. And then he became a camera guy, then he moved to the camera booth to select shots, and then he moved up to producer by 17.

Fast forward to after graduating college, Marcus joined the Tom Joyner Foundation where he built the social media platforms for Foundation.  He created charity campaigns that utilized celebrities and college students to increase various donors’ support of HBCUs over 1 million dollars. He was able to work with celebs like Erykah Badu, Robin Thicke, Kirk Franklin, and Tom Joyner. During his employment at TJF, Marcus also worked at NBC 5 DFW on the weekend morning news production team.

In 2014, Marcus founded Thirty Thirty Media and built the first arm of the company, The Culture Supplier. TCS is a news outlet that has the goal to constantly shift the news narrative around the ever-changing culture. The Culture Supplier has featured interviews with individuals like Ice Cube, Bishop T.D. Jakes & other individuals in the community.  TCS has covered the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement in Texas, worked with Hyundai Hope on Wheels project, Dallas Mayor Casey Thomas, covered premiere screenings and more. Over the past 6 years, this website has catered to over 150,000 consumers and has been nominated for Independent Media Platform of the Year by Cosign Media. 

In 2017, Marcus moved to New York to join an advertising program called Verizon adfellows. Immediately following the program in 2018, Marcus joined Momentum Worldwide where he is culturally disrupting as an Associate Brand Experience Producer.. He oversees live events for Verizon sponsorships with the NBA, NFL, MLS, E Sports and technology. 

Marcus has received awards for Public Figure of the Year by Cosign Media, Black Enterprise Modern Man 2018 and 2017 Pastor’s Award from New Birth Baptist Church. Marcus is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc, NAMIC New York committee member, Verizon adfellows Alumni board member, and works in his community as a mentor for young men. Due to his proven success, Marcus has been able to understand what type of strategy brands should deploy through experiences and content.
